Hong Kong - Macau - Day 6

it's time to say BYE to HONG KONG...

as we are heading towards to Macau!!

This is a diff ferry that we used to travel back to Macau... and this round to Taipa Ferry Terminal, instead of Macau Ferry Terminal.

As it's nearer to our hotel... (then we can have more time to travel around)

I feel the ferry is more stable (as it causes no dizzy to me) + it's much more cheaper. (about 30-40 HKD cheaper) than the First Ferry that we took to HK!

It's indeed a good chance for you to have a childhood memory here @ Disneyland... if u failed to have one during your earlier age / you tends to forgot it...

A taste of Mooncakes from Hong Kong:-

The moon cakes that we bought from Snowy taste ordinary.... but they did make great advertisement at the MTR station.. and causes us to search for it .... for days!!

@ the largest shopping mall in HK - Harbour City
- this is indeed a very large shopping complex...
with 5 blocks of shops combined into a Complex.

Still wondering how large is it...
you may imagine that One Utama have 2 wings = 2 blocks.

and Harbour City is 2.5 times of One Utama size!!

Day 2: Visit to Lantau Island

- It's 9am on a Sunday morning... and you can start imagining the queue for breakfast @ Hong Kong...

Thank god that it's just 2 of us... and we could easily slip into any empty table..

*as usual.. it's normal to "tap toi" in Hong Kong*

Breakfast set consists of :-
- 2 pieces of bread (steam / toasted);
- 2 eggs (scramble / fried); and
- a choice of coffee/tea.

One of my famous spot in Hong KOng..

at as early as 10am....

We got the Credit card discount... and bought the crystal cabin cable car up to Lantau Island..

The differences were....
1) shorter Q;
2) more expensive; and
3) u got the chance to sit on a nearly transparent cabin.. (where u can see the bottom of the cabin).

After about 30 minutes journey.... we finally reached Lantau Island.

After walking for half of the day...

We stopped at this place.... to have some meals/snacks..

Hong Kong - Macau Trip - Day 1

It had been about a year since i bought the flight ticket to Macau...

And finally the days have come n we are here... @ Hong Kong & Macau on 10 - 16th September 2011!!

Wahaha... just to show off.. the load of bullets we bought over there..

After a generous 5 - 6 hours waits at the airport + 3.5 hours of resting on plane...

We are finally here @ Macau Ferry Terminal....

since there's where our client's office is located..

It's 25th May 2011 today!!

It had been arranged for us, the new seniors to attend this 2 Day 1 Night Workshop Training @ Equatorial Hotel, Bangi.

As early as 7 am, we are required to gather at our office's concourse and hop on the bus for our journey to Bangi.

The dinner was just a simple Yum Seng ceremony + free supply of foods and drinks (i.e. liquors)....

The most consume item for the 2 days was... desserts!!

*i think i gained a kilo or 2 extra de.... :( *

It's saturday again..

This is a short week work.... coz Labour Day fall on last sunday.... which means Monday is a off day!!

This week marks my 1st week working as an Internal Auditor in KPMG...

There's still another 5 months and 3 weeks more to go...

*if i decide to go back to tax la... of course!*

Nothing much happen this week...

but i'm quite happy working with the colleagues here.. so far...

they are friendly, out-spoking & easy going.... as compared with those colleagues in TRM previously...

Of course, one words don't kill all... there's always minority in every case....

Story of the day...

The story of an external auditor with an internal auditor....

At around 12.28pm, both of them reached Fahrenheit 88... and starts their 9 hours "shopping" marathon a.k.a. claiming to be doing their "Retail Therapy".. @ Bukit Bintang here!!

The day where the External auditor don't need to go back office to work...

n the internal auditor got no work to do for her 1st week....

So, ended up, both of them hang out at 5 complexes for the whole day...:-

1) Fahrenheit 88;

2) Lot 10

3) Sungei Wang Plaza;

4) Berjaya Times Square; and

5) Pavillion.

This is the evidence of the above story...

So, main point of the day...

How much u think both of them spent for their RETAIL THERAPY???

Finally today is the day where I could go back at 5.30..

Really miss this kind of lifestyle!

Quite enjoy occasionally..

I have finished doing what i normally do at night, by 8pm at night...

wahhaha... there's still at least 2 more hours b4 my sleeping time...

What else? continue chasing my TVB drama for the rest of the hours only ba.....

Perhaps.... leave for a short term period...?? and come back when the time comes (as agreed....:S)

Although, is has been agreed to come back after 6 months...

But is that really firm???

"Dunno"

Honestly, i really don't have an answer with me on this....

Some even ask me...

" Jean Le.... R u really able to put down ur senior status in Tax.... and starts all again in audit??..... R u really decided to do so???"

" Dunno.... it's part of a learning curve ba? I don't lose anything isn't it?? What so great about senior? besides the salary??"

" you are like wasting your time there... don't you think so??

" How well do u know?? Maybe I enjoyed myself... and experiences can be gained at anywhere and no matter what, it would be beneficial to one"

hahahaha... these are some of the questions ppl surround me asking me so far.....

Anywhere... i believe there's no definite answer for any questions..

It always depends on your point of perspective only..

It has been a busy month in this March 2011...

deadlines, deadlines, and urgent project..

I have been missing the 5.30 leaving office lifestyle.. since my promotion early this year...

what a tiring new life...

hopes everything ends in this month... n I shall concentrate on my compliances work b4 moving on to the NEW department...

As usual, every weekend, we will spent our evening at the park...
and not to be left out.. this weekend too...

A fren actually asked us for a picnic + fishing + kiting session @ Kepong Metropolitan Park here..

but the weather is not so good on this saturday evening...
n therefore, the plan is cancelled...

however, when we are on the way back home, the weather doesn't really looks that bad...

clear clouds... therefore, we drop by here to have a look...

From the signboard while on the way in, we saw signs saying "kawasan permainan layang-layang"

I suppose, ppl came here just to play kites?

indeed, the crowd was fine here on saturday evening - 6pm..

but when we were here on sunday again....

the parking was as long as till the side of the highway...

just couldn't imagine this area would be so crowded..

Therefore, we change our location to the more quiet park...

It's public holiday today!!

n it's Post-valentine...

i suppose, most of u guys celebrated last night celebration with your loves one..

Some guys fren said that they are not allowed to do any replacement for the celebration... and being forced to make the night free for their love one....

*i suppose these are those who congested all the restaurants (i.e. TGI Fridays, Italianies, Chillies), the shopping complexes and also the traffic on the roads!!*

Anyhow, for me and my dear, we did not really celebrated on this day... as both of us need to work and therefore, choosed an earlier date to celebrate this special day!!

I noticed in the year 2011, most of the frens surrounded me, found their loves one..
I suppose, they do enjoyed their 14 Feb!!

I wish all couples that i knew a Happy Valentine Day and enjoy the sweet moments between you both.

Don't be overly sad due to the small quarrels between couples and i suppose we shall take this as an opportunity to understand each other more thoroughly...

Wish that you guys could have a long-lasting relationship with your love one and shall you be pour with millions of loves....

- taste is quite nice...

Although it's not as creamy as those sold by Pizza hut.. but the taste is OK for me..

The Seafood Black Pepper Pasta

- There's quite a number of sotongs and prawns inside there..

quite worth the price..

The Bangers & Mash

- if i'm not mistaken, this is one of their best seller...

It's basically combination of Mash Potatos + sausages (beef/chicken) with gravy...

It's the 1st weekend for 2011~!!

Being an ordinary weekend, trying to plan something extra-ordinary for the days..

However, some really Un-extraordinary thing happen for the day..

As such, i would prefer to erase 08.01.2011 from my blog entry...

It's a Sunday Noon, both of us, feeling bored, and therefore, hangout at 2 new complexes
(okay... for both of us. since we haven't been there b4)

which is :-

2) Sunway Giza, Kota Damansara.

The name sound like new to us... n it does have some high class feels from the name itself...

It's actually a Singapore based cafe that is opened in Malaysia (if i did not remember wrongly from the reading)

yeah... as usual... Things from Spore... it will be definitely be supported by some1....

It's something like Old Town / Pappa Rich that are incorporated in Malaysia..

The foods are similar.. but with cheaper pricing...

The Milo Dinosaur (Ice) @ RM4.50

This is a must try item... the heavy Milo taste is really a must...

Would have try to make it in Home!

i think the recipe is rather simple....

3) Milo...

Simple enough rite?

Remembering 2010.... anticipating for 2011

Remembering 2010.....

Today mark the last day for 2010 and also my last blog for 2010....
at 5 something in the evening...
doing nothing and start thinking how to spent my last few hours for 2010.....

I wonder if you are really able to think back what you have actually done this whole year?

i tried very hard...
and... i shall list some down here..

1) have been working in the same dept for the full year....after being transfered here since Sept 2009... doing all the compliance, field audit work.... investigation cases, CA studies.... taking care of my seniors jobs while they go on their leaves....

--> my manager told me... i think you should actually thank your team members/seniors for needing you to take care of their works while they goes on study leaves.... n I do thinks this is how the boss (partner / HOD) saws your abilities and contributions towards the firm....

--> she also starts to compares with the other assistant and noticed that I'm the one serving the shortest period to the dept & the firm (despite that I'm previously working in Pool)...

(yeah... she catch me into her place and chatted with me for about 30-40 minutes talking about the promotion list...after i'm back from my leaves last few days...)

--> I suppose from here.... i do need to inform that I'm being promoted to the next level & I shall anticipate that I would need to spend even more time towards my work & > commitment to the firm...
(if i were to stay back here....)

2) I have been travelling to quite a places for the year of 2010....

---> just to list some....

- Genting Highland
- Malacca, Muar
- Ipoh, Taiping, Perak
- Langkawi
- Bukit Tinggi
- those yum cha & hang out sessions
- ........etc...

I do remember that I went to many places... but a bit hard for me to recall all at this moment ..... perhaps... it's due to going to the same place for more than once during the year....
:D

I suppose most of the trips are accompanied by my dear.... who i suppose have also spent quite an amount of $$ so far...
(ehh.. i do pay okay?? :P)

3) Despite the family problems that hit us this year.... I suppose it does help me to looks things differently... and judges for myself... what I suppose to do... and what i shouldn't do too....

--> Human do react differently as time goes... no matter how kind / good a person is.... when it reaches the line / limit... they do only thinks for themselves....

--> just bare in mind.... Do think for yourself... treat yourself better! =)

4) Friendship....

---> There are many issues surrounded me on this year....

although it doesn't hit me directly... but i do hear a lots of complaints from a side.. towards another side....

and I wonder... is this reality??

Why do we do so?

How can we be separated like this?

are these rumours all real??

Someone ever told me.... don't care about them.... human are selfish... don't overly care about it.. and hurt urself... don't need to try to do too much things for this too... why it comes... it do comes...
